I’m Bandana (Bun-the-nah)
Sr. Design Strategist and Researcher
I’m based in Toronto (EST), and my specialty is ensuring every stakeholder is heard and embraced as themselves in creative, innovation and design projects. I particularly love high ambiguity projects, as I have extensive experience working in developing discovery research, co-design, facilitation, and experimentation.
Making the time and space to hear the people we serve is a constant need across industries, communities and services. It’s hard to get what we need as a customer, client, patient or participant, if no one has taken enough care in learning about our needs.
I have 15 years of experience across culture, art, media and design working with corporations and non-profits, producing strategies, services, programs and experiences across Canada and the US.
Although I work in research and strategy, I have a long history in cultural production across television, music and culture, which really helps me meld insights into truly actionable plans that are realistic while still being expansive.
I hold a Masters from Parson’s College of Design in Strategic Design & Management with a President’s Scholarship. I also hold a B.A from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) Radio & Television Arts as a Millennial Laureate.
The Cultivation Of (Creative & Design Practices) has both CGL and E&O insurance.
